Wow. I might have actually cried at this. This is why I take pictures. This is why I post them, so that someone, somewhere, can see them and be...

As a group of friends, strangers, family members or my Girlfriend. Can I not do these things:
-Splash mountain. I don’t like drops and the fun-to-fright ratio isn’t in my favor.
-Fantasmic. I don’t like fireworks, especially the ones that go off a short distance from me. I don’t like the smell of spent black powder. My ears hurt though looking back, I should have wore earplugs or even a big headset to drastically reduce the decibels.
-Teacups, motion-sickness. Nuff said.
-tower of terror. I fare better on this ride compared to splash. But I prefer not to go on it.
-California screamin. My upper-limit when it comes to real roller-coasters.
That place looks familiar ;)
That is what you see on the Google play store. No photoshop trickery here. And I’m still trying to get into google+ and if i eventually get into it, pulling my folks over from the Facebook will be a whole other matter.
PS: I want to meet the person at Google responsible for that choice for the screenshots and for having *Very Detailed* map info on the Disney parks.
I’m presented with an opportunity to build a whole freakin computer for around $300. It will be a big-huge upgrade from my netbook which is my primary computer that runs windows and is in charge when I need to have a real keyboard, websites that don’t play well with iOS/android, File backups to hard drives. And then I can finally play games like Starcraft and battlefield 3.
But the trade off will be jeopardizing my huge Disneyland trip in 3-4 months time. Money is tight. Being frugal and on-budget goes a long way. And besides, would I like to be more tethered home playing video games all day instead of investing that money into travel and self-improvement? I have the netbook, an iPod touch for the music and basic connectivity, the nexus 7 which handles the stuff the iPod touch force closes on. I don’t need a desktop computer. I want a magical weekend!
(For the nerds: the computer will be a Intel core i7 3770k which I should get real cheap because of where I work, with 4GB of ram, will be using the on-board HD 4000 graphics just to get started, 500 GB hard drive, case and other necessities compliments of who made the processor. I still have Windows Vista Ultimate which I got for free a long time ago. I already have the KB/Mouse/Monitor so I can definitely keep the build under $300)
Window Shopping on Amazon.com for a Fitbit. Then went to the recommendations, What’s this? “Disney’s California Adventure” on the Amazon MP3 Store??
http://www.amazon.com/Disneys-California-Adventure/dp/B00BM5I8BK
Hotdog! You can buy ala-carte the Soarin’ soundtrack for $0.99 and you will get the warm fuzzy and right feeling you paid for the thing without resorting to mousebits or youtube.
(Scrolls down to recommendations)
Jackpot! Classic Disney Vol 1-6, and that is the 90’s releases. Not the early 2000’s 3 volume release which i have on Compact Discs. (e.g: http://www.amazon.com/Disneys-Greatest-Volume-1/dp/B0034KJCVQ/) Yes folks, it has a LOT of Disneyland and has pretty much everything pre-tangled when it comes to Disney music, again without resorting to kat.[TLD redacted, you figure it out] or tumblr audio posts.
http://www.amazon.com/Classic-Disney-Vol-Years-Musical/dp/B00BI1IZXY/
and you can have it all for $53.94 at the Amazon MP3 store.
Postscript/Edit: Now i remember back when i was like 7 years old. I had Vol 3 on Cassette Tape! http://www.amazon.com/Classic-Disney-Vol-Years-Musical/dp/B00BJEW0VI/ Back then, i could not be trusted with a Compact Disc and/or a Discman (remember those?)
Ah yes, the Tech/Gadget/Comedy show i watch on the internet mentioned Disneyland again. If they keep this up, they better have a Disneyland show of some sort.
(if the time-junp fails, starts at the beginning, fast-forward to 48:07)
Disneyland’s Long Lost Friends week. I’m totally crushing on Mulan. Also the Ducotes are in this one!
Its timed comment time!
2:12 - I’ve always wanted to see Jane in person, i thought her character was cute in the movie.
2:53 - That Face! I know a certain girl that does that in real life. Hehe.
3:05 - I agree! Disneyland’s official color is blue IMO. Just look at the entrance archway and the business cards and the CM’s name badges, Blue!
3:10 - Where is that color changing fabric? I’m expecting from Imagineering to come up with a costume that changes color on-the-fly when the faeries say “Make it Blue/Pink!”. If Mickey can talk on-stage, why not?
3:25 - The pink fairy is really cute. I forgot her name, sorry, i’m an awful Disney fan for not remembering the characters from Sleeping Beauty.
4:19 - Are you kidding?? Everyday at Disneyland, Magic can be used. Not with a magic wand and spells of-course but with the fact that everything will be alright that is.
4:45 - Clopin! Hey, that voice sounds very familiar…..
5:23 - I like your pin lanyard.
6:13 - Finally! Racoons at Disneyland!
7:33 - Awesome! Ping and Mushu! (That’s Mulan and the dragon, not a lizard)
9:15 - Just like racoons outside of Disneyland. They steal yer food!
9:46 - Yes wolf! Come and get your Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner!
10:10 - Umm, the guests looked familiar?….
10:40 - …That’s that Couple who got me into this Disneyland…Thing! (http://andrewducote.tumblr.com/)
10:55 - Can we just appreciate this young couple and just think about it. They still act like 12! That will cause a long life for the 2 IMO and won’t you like that too?
12:07 - (Pause the video on this one and let it speak for itself)
12:46 - “I love them!” I love them too man!
If you enjoyed this or my other video commentaries, like it! reblog it! It would be great if this goes viral or reaches a lot more people.
You were all AMAZING! See you in September :D
Okay, as of this post. I have 137 days left till they and others go back to Disneyland to play sophisticated dress-up and i would like to join in the fun.
This seems to me more interesting than the upcoming D23 expo in August where i have a feeling it will be lines and lines and lines and lines and booths and lines. I would just watch the live stream the guys over at wdwradio.com did and visit say the Walt Disney family museum if i want to history behind the parks, the company and the man.
And i want to meet some of the people i have been following online in this setting.
I have most of the traits (I think) the company expects its employees to have but the one thing I noticed the most is ridiculous amounts of self-confidence and contentment with themselves (e.g: #ilovemyjob #lifeisgood #myjobisbetterthanyours). Both of which I’m definitely lacking of.
In real life, when I’m out doing my business, I distrust people and I think they look upon me as an insignificant/stupid person so I always look down. I think that’s it, nothing more to move up in life and I have to be content with what I have, any attempts to say move out of the dumps in life or do something considered crazy will lead to too much financial ruin blah blah blah.
I have to change that, I should be able to have eye contact with people passing by. I should believe that everything is fine and something great will happen as long as I live. Stop over analyzing and worry less.
I may never be a CM for practical reasons (here I go again with downplaying the possibilities, but if called upon and pass the requirements, that would be great!) but I should act like one and be a different person than who I am right now.
And on another subject entirely. I typed this out using the Apple Store wifi. Where the heck do people get their money for a thousand dollar laptop? I always see someone walk-out with a new laptop while the other stores only have sales folks inside the stores and not a window shopper in sight! So. I had a choice of a giant 32GB SD card for $17 or a 4 GB SD with wifi for $20 clearanced on a certain office supplies store. I chose the wifi SD card because convenience of having a selection of your photos ready to be posted online as soon as possible. And besides, I have 4 other cards I can Use to swap them out if I need say video recording or its another event.
This will be great at Disneyland with that wifi SD card as my primary storage device. I could photograph the general atmosphere and characters and in the downtime like waiting in lines or lunch. Fiddle with the images with a tablet ready for posting on this website or Instagram. Then if it’s a show or a single subject, swap to a different “normal” card and the workflow for those images will be old-skool connect to the computer and sort it out there.
I need a 3rd battery!
